I have done extensive research on the Canadian Schenck line.The name in Canada is now spelled "Schinck."The original immigrant was Johan Hinrich (John Henri) Schenck who was born in Gelenhausen, Germany in 1747.He was recruited by the the British to fight in the American Revolution.Following the Revolutionary War, John Henri Schenck received a land grant in Chateauguay.I visited the homestead in 1979.Current owner is a Schinck.

I have information on the descendants of John Henri that should provide the information you are seeking.However, I am currently on vacation in Illinios. Just returned from a Schenck family reunion in Rhode Island.All of my records are at my home in Hawaii.I will be back in Hawaii at the end of August or early in September and will get back to you with whatever information I have on the Schenck line you are researching.
