James Sherry & Rebecca Nelson, NJ 1780's

Searching for info on the parents of David Sherry b 1792 in NJ. He lived most of his life in Atlantic(previously
Gloucester) County, in Weymouth & DaCosta. He was born in Pemberton, Burlington Co. His father, James Sherry supposedly was a Hessian who deserted and married a colonial woman after changing his last name from "Sch---"something. Another child of James & Rebecca may have been Abigail. I do not believe that Margaret Sherry of Burlington Co. is related. If anyone could help with David's parents I would be glad to share.
