Bonjour CAROL
What a good news, at last, somebody, you CAROL responds my message about SCHIER or SCHIR family, message that I sent a lot of months before !!!
First of all, do you know that in France, there are two SCHII family, without any connection.
The first one is in ALSACE, round by the town of MUTZIG;
The second one, who is the family of my wife whose name is Jeanne SCHIR, was living in BOULAY and in the neighbourhood, and I can found them since 1650.
The spelling is now SCHIR, but in the oldest papers, when nobody knows writing, the priester who christens the children writes as he listens, SCHIR, SCHEIR, CHIER, and so on.
If wewant to find connections between your family and the family of my wife, can you say me if your Great Grand mother sails to America from Alsace or from Lorraine ?
Do you know when she was born and when she deceased ?
I have an idea :
Louise Adélaïde Schir, born on 27 avril 1850 in Boulay, maried Jacques Adrien Hanne, in Diedenhofen (Thionville) in 1891. I have no news of her, but she is the great grantaunt of my wife.
Is it the good track ?
Please, give me more informations to purchase this search.
Would you like that I send you a GedFile with all the SCHIR who are on my computer ?
So give me your @-mail ?
Merci encore de votre mail,
et recevez mes meilleurs sentiments généalogiques.
