Re: John SCHILDTKNECHT 1875 in Henry Co IN

I am a descendant of John Schildknecht.He was born on Mar 6 1804 in Maryland (probably Frederick County) and he died in 1881 in Indiana.His first wife, Susannah Derr was born in Myersville, MD and died in New Castle Indiana.They had four children, Maria, William Henry, Sarah and John Lewis.Elizabeth was his second wife and they were married about 1848.She was the daughter of Jacob from Montgomery Co. Ohio.They had two sons, Ezra J. and Jacob.(Source:Manocacy and Catoctin, by C.E. Schildknecht, vol.2)
