George Schnabel was my 5th great grandfather, his daughter Catherine married my 4th great grandfather, Jacob Bonstein [spelled many ways: Buntstein, Bunstein, Bunstine, Bonstine etc] He came in the War of 1776 from Germany to fight for the English and became a prisoner of war twice, he stayed in America and his brother Paulus Bonnstein went back to Germany.
