I also have ancestors named Schober from the Deggendorf area of Bavaria.Franz Grimm is my great-grandfather.He married Magdalena Schober.I have found records of another Grimm married to a Theresa Schober.I am sure they are all related but have not made that connection.A record at the FHL names Westerndorf as the place where Magdalena Schober died in the late 1800s.I am pursuing that.What record do you have that lists Franz Schober?
