As I mentioned in my note to you on 8/18/01, my husband has Schulenbergs'in his family tree.I found the letter I refered to.It is dated may 16, 1973, and is from a Mrs Milton Kaase from Schulenburg, TX.It is addressed to one on my husbands cousins.In the letter Mrs. Kaases states that she is doing research on the Schulenburg name and has had correspondence with Dr. C.A.R. Schulenburg from South Africa.According to her letter the von Schulenburg family from Germany split up over 200 years ago. Some went to South Africa and others came to America.During the course the van was dropped from their name.Since I am new at this link I do not know if Mrs. Kaase is still living or has any further information.
