Edward Schulz, 65, a retired mortician, died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at Illinois Research hospital Chicago, following a four week illness.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 20 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic church, Springfield, with burial in Calvary cemetery, Springfield.
Visitation was held Friday and Saturday at Culkin memorial Home in Chatsworth.
He was born at Goodland, Ind., May 1?, 1902, a son of Alcls (sic) and Josephine Weller Schulz. He was educated in Chatsworth schools. He married Alice Jones at Springfield in 1939. She died in 1959.
In 1965 he retired and returned to Chatsworth to live.
Surviving are a brother, Philip of Chatsworth, and nieces and nephews.
He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic church and of the Eagles Lodge at Springfield.
