Isaac Scram b. 1845 Sandy Creek, Oswego Co. NY

Michael and Pamelia (Fredenburg) Scram went from Saratoga co., NY to Jefferson Co., NY where on 17 July 1845 their son, Isaac Newton Scram was born.There were two other children: John F. and William J.In 1854 the family moved to Albion, Oswego Co., NYIn 1880 Michael was age 65 with wife, Permilia, age 60 living with their son, William, age 20, who worked as a laborer.Isaac had a farm at Albion.In 1868 he married Frances Eaton, b. 1850.They had 3 children: Bertha C., b. 1874; Jennie M., b. 1876; and Ethel C. During the Civil War Isaac enlisted in the 110th Rgt. under ColLittlejohn and served for 3 years.For 12 years he was the town assessorIsaac apparently was better known as Newton Scram.From John Churchill, Landmarks of Oswego county, New York, pt. 3, p. 289.(1895) and the 1880 census for Albion, Oswego Co., NY.
