Searching for my gggrandmother, whom my grandmother said was Nancy Ann SCRIBNER or SCRIBER from Watervliet, Albany County NY. She would have been born about 1815.The closest I can find to this name is a Charles SCRIPPERT in the 1790 census in Watervliet. Does anyone have a family in that area by any similar name? Does anyone have any Scrinners in upstate NY at that time?
