I think you are on the right track. According to my search, GeorgeScribner was the son of Samuel Redin Scribner and Burnetta Snooks. Samuel R. was the son of James Scribner and Caroline Garrison. I have been trying to find proof that this James Scribner was the Brother to my great grandmother, Elizabeth Scribner Shipman. James and Caroline named their children the same as my gggrandparents and this seems to indicate he was their son. I have been unable to find out what happened to James and Caroline. I have heard from relatives that they both died somewhere in Mo or KS. I also learned from a direct descendant that Samuel Redin Scribner was referred to as "Little Red" and his father as "Big Red". All of this would indicate the line is as my information indicates.

George (I do not have middle name listed for him) married Lizzie Hall in August 1902, Douglas Co., MO.

I have no further info on descendants of George and Lizzie and would appreciate knowing more. I do have ancestors of George. Let me know if I can be of further help.
