I have a lot of information about Albert's father, John C. Scribner. He was the brother of my ancestor, Charles William Scribner. Both men were the sons of Aaron Scribner and Rhoda Carll, who migrated to Michigan originally from Waterborough, York County, Maine, where both parents were born.John and Charles were both born in Brighton, Somerset County, Maine.Charles died during the civil war in 1864.Aaron came from a long line of well-documented Scribners who can trace their lineage from the Overlord of Frodesely Manor in Shropshire, England. The original ancestor arrived in the Americas in about 1630.Rhoda's father John Carll was a Revolutionary War Patriot.
