You should get together with the guy who posted the message a couple of messages up about Detroit Scribners! The person you are asking about was Albert's sister!Aimee is the daughter of John C. Scribner. Her name appears in the Michigan census as "Emma F. Scribner."She has several brothers. Her brother Elbridge is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Detroit.I have loads of information about the ancestry of her father, because he was the brother to my own ancestor Charles William Scribner.Charles died in the Civil War in 1864.Charles and Aimee's father John C. Scribner were both sons of Aaron Scribner and Rhoda Carll. Both boys and some of their siblings were born in Brighton, Somerset County, Maine.Their parents were both born in Waterborough, York County, Maine.Rhoda's father was a Revolutionary War Patriot. The Scribners can trace their line from England to the Overlord of Frodesley Manor in Shropshire.I would LOVE any descendency information you can provide me, and I will be happy to give you what I know.
