Moses L. Scudder - vintage photo ca 1870, Hartford, CT

I have been given several "Visiting Cards" from a friend who purchased them at an auction. I am attempting to contact someone from the direct line of Moses L. Scudder and pass on his photo.
 
The card is approximately 2 1/2 inches by 4 inches and these cards were given when wishing to visit someone. The front of the card is a photo of a middle aged man. Handwritten on the back, Moses L. Scudder.Additionally, printed on the back is the name of the photographer, G. N. Granniss, Photographer, Waterbury, Conn.

I found a Moses L. Scudder, 55 yrs., Meth. Presiding Elder, b. NY, in the 1870 Hartford Co., CT census.
In that household were:
Mrs. (no name given) 52 yrs., b. Ny
Harry 20 yrs., Student
Emily 24 yrs.
Newton 14 yrs.
Chas. 13 yrs.
Caroline 58 yrs., domestic
(all born NY)
 
I am an avid genealogist for my family and know how wonderful it would be to have a photo of any member. I hope that you can assist me with any information that may be helpful in reaching a direct line descendant of Moses L. Scudder.
