A presentation of the "Northern" SCURLOCK MILITARY SCRAPBOOK will be shown in October 2012 for family and contributors to the scrapbook.
This information for this scrapbook was researched for 6 years and pictures were contributed.These are the MILITARY (only) descendents of Lydia & James who initially settled in Gallia/Jackson County, OH.Yes, we proved they served in "every" war since the Revolutionary War.
DO NOT CALL THE LIBRARY.(They are allowing the use of their room but they have no other responsibilities or knowledge about the presentation.)
After the showing in October the SCURLOCK MILITARY SCRAPBOOK will be permanently located at the Lillian Jones Museum in Jackson, OH.DO NOT CALL THE MUSEUM until after October 27.(Again, they have no responsibility but will be the location that retains the scrapbook.)
The SCRAPBOOK is copyrighted.The pictures were contributed NOT for the public domain.They were compiled to PRESERVE, HONOR, and educate future generations that FREEDOM isn't free.Each contributor Reserves ALL RIGHTS to the use of the photo.Possibly other SURNAMES will decide to create their own scrapbook.
