Hi Caroline.I think we share ancestors.Emily Seabridge (1860 Longton) married William Day Barlow and they had 5 children between 1880 and 1891, one of whom was Charles Day Barlow born 2nd October 1891.Charles Day Barlow married Jessamine Harriet Isaacs born 1894 in Bradford. They had 5 children between 1917 and 1921, one of whom was Jessamine Barlow born 1917 in Bradford, died July 2001 in Northallerton. She was my husbands mother (Paul born 29th August 1941) and his sister Elaine (1946)
I know this is going the wrong way for you but I cannot go back before William in 1821.However you did put me straight about his two wives - I thought Eliza was their mother!!We are planning to visit Staffordshire and the Records Office (we were supposed to go the week before last but the weather forecast was awful) so will see what we come up with beyond that.
