I have a copy fo the "Searle Record".The following is a quote from page 75 of my copy which I aquired since you and I met.
"Samuel Searle, son of Nathan Searle and Lydia Topliff, born 1788; married (1814) Zeruah Graves, born in Easthampton, July 1, 1790, and daughter of John Graves and Zeruah Chapman.In 1888, living inCanton, St. Lawrence Co., New York.She died about Sept.1, 1890, passing her 100th birthday.He died 1860, age 72." Mrs. Zeruah Searle died last week at the residenceof her daughter, Mrs. Lorenzo Lawrence, in Canton, N.Y., aged 100 years and two months.Mrs. Searle was a native of Massachusetts, and of Puritan stock, and she and her husband who died many years ago, were among the early settlers of of St. Lawrence, County.Most of her life was passed on a farm, and she retained her faculties remarkably up to extreme old age, and until her death."Three children--(1)Aretus Searle, born Nov. 1816; married Juliette Bethsina Williams, daughter of JacobWilliams and Fanny Monart; has one daughter, Julia Marie Searle, born 1841; married (1859) Charles Kirkland Clark; she died Sept. 29, 1863, aged 22.She left one daughter, Julia Atossa Clark, born Feb. 27, 1863.(2)Samuel Andrews, born May, 1819; married (Oct. 9, 1845) Amelia P.
