My great-great-great grandfather was Arthur Searle who was married to a Sarah O'Dowd. They had two children, Arthur William and Frederick. Arthur William was born in 1830 in County Kent and married a Mary Carroll on 21 Nov 1861 at St Mary's Cathedral in Sydney, NSW. They had 5 children, Esther (1863), Sarah (1865-1865), Mary (1865-1935), Arthur (1867)& Thomas John(1869).

Thomas John was my great grandfather. Thomas John married a Bertha Henry in 1900 in Sydney.They had 5 children, Bernard James (b.1896),Mary (b.1898), Charles (b.1901), Ethel Veronica (b.1903, Thomas John (b.1905).Bernard James married a Myrtle Grace Munro on 14th Feb 1925 in Waverley, NSW.They had 5 children; Marie Veronica (b.1926),Michael Bernard (b.1927),Bernadette (b.1929),Patricia Anne (b.1933) & John Anthony (b.1937).Bernadette is my mother and I am the youngest of 5 children (family tradition).Bernard & Myrtle (my grandparents) have 57 descendants.
