150 year old story
I am an old man and was told this story from my grandmother who was told it by her grandfather, Phillip Tolbert. Phillip Tolbert was a fifth sargent in Captain Seawrights' Company,Col Morrison Battalion, Georgia Cavalry. It later became Company D, 1st Reg Georgia Cavalry. Captain Seawright had a premonition that he was going to be killed(He knew he was going to die)Captain Seawright and Phillip Tolbert changed uniforms. Captain Seawright was shot and fell from his horse. Phillip Tolberts' horse stepped on Captain Seawrights head killing him. Captain Seawight knew he was going to die and did his duty anyway. How many of us would have done that! Phillip named a son Seawight Tolbert
