I am trying to trace the lineage of my branch of the Seelye family. The information I have for James Abner came from a newspaper obituary that I found in some old family records. I have been able to determine that Abner was born in Ohio in 1820 or 1821 and verify his marraiges via Illinois certificates. But, I have not been able to find his parents names or the names of any siblings. If anyone can help me with the names of Abner's parents it would be greatly appreciated.
