I never expected to find another Tom Sepic anywhere in the U.S., so you can imagine my surprise to find one in Milwaukee.
I made several trips to the Milwaukee area when I was just a lad (10 years old) to visit my uncle in Trempeleau (I can't remember the exact spelling of the town) who raised cattle and hogs, and had some wheat fields.
I now live in the Pacific Northwest, where my 83 year old father still lives as well.He has only one sister still alive, and his brother, who died some years back, has two sons both of whom have daughters. The Sepic name won't go much father in this here neck of the woods.
I am a college professor, and traveled to Yugoslavia 11 years ago, before the war began. The northern part of the coutry, in and around Croatia, was very poor.It was great to see the family name in his home city, Opatia, as well as the house in which he grew up.
Nice to meet another Tom, even if I spell my name, Thom.
