Been looking at family. My connection is from my dads side of family. (Brassfield) My great grandad was Charles Mclain Brassfield and his mother was a Lane and the connection moves to the Seratt side. Tirey Seratt was the father of John Street Seratt. John was living in the 1860 census of Wash. Co. Ark at age 5, parents were dead by the 1870 census. Moved from Ark. to Okla, I T. Tirey was married to Susannah I Miller and she is the direct connection to the Seratt family. I understand that Susannah was born about 1790 in the "Old Cherokee Nation" and came to Cherokee Territory on the Trail Of Tears and was here for the 1851 census and is buried in Sequoyah County somewhere. Could it be at Nycut, at the Seabolt Cemetary? I would appreciat any information that you might have and thanks.
