SEVER has CZECH origin
SEVER literally means "to cut off" in English and is an uncommon name in the USA, however, in the Republic of Czechoslovakia and Slovakia, the name is as common as SMITH. Translated, it means, NORTH.
I would be interested in any correspondence with researchers, large and small, on the origins of the SLOVAK and CZECH relationship / connection with the surname of SEVER.
Thank you
