My great-grandfather was James Shanda.He had 6 or 7 brothers that came to the US from what is now the Czech Republic.They were all farmers and scattered all over the US.None of them kept in touch with each other.I know there were some in Texas, the Northwest, Minnesota, the Ohio area and California I believe.I don't know if this may be your family or not.
