Re: William Shannon, 1682-1741Lancaster, PA

I believe I am descended from this family also (Hugh Shannon settled in present day Gaston Co., NC in 1763).Likewise, we are Scotch-Irish Presbyterians and it seems unlikely they came from Munster in southern Ireland.I am looking for more information on the children of this William Shannon to establish how his descendents got to NC.
