my name is steve marcaurele. i was researching my grandfather, louis marcaurele, and came across your posting. my grandfather was the eldest son of nazaire and clemence marcaurele of canada. my grandfather enlisted in the spanish american war in maine. he mustered out in texas and never returned home and lost all contact with his family. he died in texas in 1962. if your grandmother has any knowledge of him or his family, please write me back. i live in baton rouge, la.
