Re: Where did the Shavers first settle3/3/00

It has been many years since I was told the story of the three Shaver brothers coming from Germany to New York.My memory is beginning to fail me.I do seem to recall though that two of the brothers arrived with the name Shaver and the third was listed as Schafer or Schaffer or Shafer.I do not remember which.I am sorry for being so little help.
