It might be worth while to pull your uncle aside and start asking a lot of questions.He may just be on to something! Did he say when this was suppose to have happen?
What your uncle said makes sense.Shavers settled in Deleware County (Shavertown) andSchoharie County for sure.They are just down or up the Hudson river from each other.See if you can get more info.It is especially important if your uncle is old.The old folks have a wealth of knowledge and they (and we sometimes) don't even realize it.
