I am looking for Rev. Thomas E. Sherwood bc. 1834 IN who is on the 1870 census in Dallas TX.He was 36, born IN, a merchant with a wife and 3 children.He was mayor of Dallas from 1861-62 and minister at First Methodist Church in Mesquite 1867-68.He may have been first postmaster in Farmersville, TX 1857. Is he related toyour Jeremiah Sherwood?

I am looking for his birth and death dates/places and his burial place (cemetery) for a list of mayors of Dallas I am preparing.Any help is appreciated.
