Shooks of Columbia County, NY c. 1800

My ancestors were John Shook & Cornelia Whitbeck who married in Columbia County in 1802.I'm looking for any information about John's possible parents, grandparents, & siblings.

Does anyone know anything about the Shook's of Columbia County from the late 1700s to the early 1800s?

I'd appreciate any leads anyone can provide.
