Thank you for posting this, I'm a descendant of Levi Boyd Shoop it's nice to learn more personal information other then birth dates and death dates. If you have any other information on the Shoops I'd be happy to hear it and share what ever (albeit little) information I have on Levi's line. I'm particularly interested in tracking down Elizabeth Boyd, the Mother in this letter, and who her parentage was.
