I am a 5th generation descendant of William Sielehr, born in the year 1821 in Hanover, Germany and died 11-2-1905. Married to Maria Elbrecht.I suspect he came to America after his son, Ernst.Ernst shows up in records before William.Ernst (Great Great Grandfather, born January 1851 in Hanover) married Carolina F. (Lena) Thies (born 6-5-1852 in Hanover, Germany).They were married on 11-19-1874 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.Ernst and Lena had 7 children, William, Henry, Mary, Caroline (Clara), Emma, Edward and Lillian.I am descended for Mary.She married Henry Dranse.William never married.Henry married Theresia Kostorhejz. Clara married Fred Oberacker, Emma married George Loughren, Edward married Pearl Watson, and Lillian married Fred Lieberknecht.I am interested in finding German ancestors before William and Maria. And Descendants of Edward, Emma, and Henry.
