John Vaughn, John Simmons - correction

My mistake.There was a John Vaughn with wife Elinor in Bristol Parish, but he can't be the same person.An entry in the Vestry Book in 1625 shows he's then on his last legs:

"Upon the complaint of John Vaughan sen' He having been long sick & is now not Able to work as Also being Aged prayshe may be leavie free Tis ordered by this Vestry that the s'dVaughan be leavie free. "

The John Vaughn with wife Elinor who died in IoW in 1741 would have to be a different man, perhaps unrelated.There may be no connection with the Simmonses of Bristol Parish.
