Pugh, Seamands, Webster
Henry Webster (died in 1697) and Charity Webster had sons John, Moses and Aaron and daughter Ann.
Ann Pugh married Lewis Pugh (1704) and bought land on Totuskey Creek in North Farnham Parish, Richmond County Virginia (1720). (Richmond co. Deed Book 7 Antient Press page 544) Among other children they had a son named John (b. 1704).
Joseph Seamands(died 1729) and his wife Charity(died 1729) lived on Totuskey Creek in North Farnham Parish Richmond County Virginia (bought land 1714 and 1719) . Joseph and Charity had sons John, Moses, Aaron and Ephraim (age 11 or more at parent’s death) who also lived on Totuskey Creek (Joseph left Moses, Aaron and Ephraim land on Totuskey Creek in his will.)
Ann Pugh’s son John went back to Wales with his father Lewis to settle an inheritance. He never returned.
In 1740 Ephraim Seamands, who had brothers John, Moses and Aaron and a Mother named Charity married Mary Pugh, widow of John Pugh. John Pugh had uncles John, Moses, andAaron Webster and and a Grandmother named Charity.
Anybody want to venture a theory or more preferably a deed, will or document that would shed a little more light on these coincidences.
