I've been researching this family for many years, trying to prove the lineage to my Great Great Grandmother Rachel Jane Simmons.I have more info to share.

Children of Libbeus & Sarah:James, Charles, Lydia, Sarah Elizabeth, Mariah Antoinette "Nettie", Delila and Amos.
Sarah left Libbeus and they divorced in 1866
Libbeus Simmons MAY have also been married to Jane Hart March 29, 1840 in Fulton County, Illinois.Jane died in January, 1850.
