ROBIN:Thanks so much for your information on Daniel Sipes of the Seip surname. You have provided another vital clue that confirms that the neighbors of my Lefevres/Lefevers in SW Ohio about 1806 were indeed related.
I suspect that my ancestor was Mary Salome Wotring born 1748/49 in York (adj to Lancaster Co. PA) the daughter of John Daniel Wotring. Her sister was Julianna born abt1846 who married 1st Peter Welller & 2nd Henry Pietzel/Baltzell.
If you go to genforum family forum for WOODRING surname you can find the above Wotrings.
A Mary Salome (probably Wotring) married my Elias Lefever born 1743. He lived adjacent to Graceham Moravian Church, Frederick, Co. Maryland and the above Woodring/Wrotring were Moravians, converted in York/Lancaster PA.
The other probable connection is John Lefever born 1770's a son of above Elias and Mary Salome married Marts (some Martz married Wotring earlier)Also his sister Catherine and two of his female cousins married Schmidt - sons of Mithias Schmit or Schmidt (Name chaned to Smith Later).
Somehow Duvall & Shook (various spellings) of Frederick Co. MD are connected to Seip and Kendall.
I will try to put relationships together, thanks & I I can help you leyt me know. Some Sipe went to southern states you mentioned and may have been in Moravian churches there, especially N> Carolina.Morris
