I got this Email From a Griffin Researcher.Though you might like it.I just returned from a trip to Erie, PA where I was looking for information on Albert Griffin who was close in age to Norman Griffin. I couldn't find anything for Albert but I did find information on Norman and Harriet. They both died in 1872 and are buried in Oak Hill cemetery (also known as North East cemetery). The history center in Erie had a booklet "One Hundred Years of North East" that had a genealogy for Uriah Flavial Griffin and his wife Emaline Alden, daughter of Rev. Spencer Alden of Connecticut. It lists Norman, who settled in Harborcreek Township, as his brother. They had two sisters, Clarissa, who married Deacon John Slade, and Nancy, who married a Mr. Landon. They were all the children of Uriah and Nancy Satterlee (Moon) Griffin. Nancy died 27 Dec, 1836 and is buried in Harborcreek Presbyterian cemetery, Harborcreek, Pa. She was 71 years old. I couldn't find a cemetery listing for Uriah Sr. Uriah F Griffin and probably Norman and the sisters were natives of Washington, county, NY. Uriah was born 1804 in Kingsbury, NY and died in 1873 in North East, PAI am Desended from Norman Griffin Clarissa Brother George N. Griffin
