The Frederick G. about whom you speak, born 1873 was my Grandfather, Frederick Vernon. He died in 1964 age 91 and is buried in Pasadena, CA.I can only think your reference has his name wrong.A further addendum to my account of Sarah Helen Slocum, as researced from Giles Slocum and daughter, Ethelyn Ruth Slocum (Bloom), Sarah Howard Slocum was the name given my mother. She later changed the middle name to Helen, the name of her Grandmother, Helen Bowen Jones.Sarah was named after her Aunt, Sarah Bowen Sherman who raised her after her mother Helen died when little Sarah was only 3 months old. The middle name Howard was after a close friend of Susie Jones. Also, I got theownership of the Slocum farm incorrect. It still belonged to Fanny Slocum when Fanny died. She had intended to will it to Frederick Slocum but never got around to it.Giles Slocum, son of Frederick Vernon is buried in Breckenridge Cemetery (Scipio NY)next to his 4 year old brother who died from poisoning. The Grandparents, Giles Frederick, Mary Taber, and Fanny are buried nearby.
