Colin Slorach and Magdalene Dey in Banffshire (or Aberdeen)

Surnames: Slorach, Slora, Dey, Archibald, Gordon, Cow, Stephen, Murison

I have just spent the day working on a file for the family of Colin Slorach born 1775 and his wife Magdalene Dey. They lived at Glass, Banffshire. Four known children: James born 1803, no further info; Mary 1807 married James Archibald; Isobel born about 1811 married George Gordon; John Slorach born 1816- the latter I have concentrated on- John married Ann COW and had Agnes Slorach born 1843, John born 1845, James born 1847 and Ann born 1848. Agnes Slorach born 1843 had a daughter Agnes born 1867 who married Alexander Stephen. John and Ann both died young in 1865. James Slorach born 1847 married Barbara Murison and had seven children.
