Re: Exton,Rutland & Sedgeley,Staffs & Aston
I have recently come across a 'smith' in my family tree, my great, great grandmother.Realise it's a very common name but she was from Aston, Birmingham and thought there may be a chance she's connected to your Aston branch of the Smiths.
Her name was Pem Simth born about 1879 and married to Edwin Glazebrook.Apparently, at one stage they had a shop in Aston and she was known to be a very compassionate woman. I have been unable to find anything more about her as not sure whether Pem is real name or short for something.
If you have come across Pem in your branch, it would be great to hear from you.
