I am trying to find info on Col. Clarence james Smith b. 29 July 1874 Easton, PA,his parents were John Jackson Smith and Sue Bonstein Smith.His father was editor of the Easton Daily Press from 1871 to 1879. I am trying to find out about his mother Sue Bonstein.Clarence marriedEthel Frances Clappison 30 Apr 1906, her parents were David B. Clappison and lillian Curtis Clappison. Clarence and Ethel had two children: Jack Clappison Smith b. Easton, 5 Mar 1909 and Clarence James Jr. Smith b. Allentown 7 Nov 1912.
I am trying to fill in my Bonstein genealogy and trying to place Clarence's mother Sue Bonstein,Bonstein is spelled Bunstein, Bunstine, Bonstine, and even different ways.
Would appreciate any help.
