Carlos E. SNOW b. 1823 Orwell, VT (??parents??)

I am searching for the parents of Carlos Erastus SNOW born 30 June 1823 Orwell, Addison Co., VT.He was a wounded Civil War private.He died in 1907 Ruthland Co., VT.His wife was Althea R. KILBOURNE born 1838.An 1880 Census states that both of Carlos' parent's birth places were in New Hampshire.
