Re: George C. Snyder [b. c. 1805/1808] & Lavinia ? [b. 1808/1810 - Wisconsin
I've attempted twice to email you at the address you emailed me from. Both times the email was rejected "reason: 451 Administratively blocked".
Here is the body of the email, without the attached census records...
I've been doing some digging around for Edward and his wives. I believe that either you've got the wrong parents, if this is your Edward. Or if you're related to George and Lavinia, then this is the wrong Edward. Whichever, this Edward is not the son of George C Snider and Lavinia. I'm going to attach several census records that I've located. In all of them his birth state is listed as New Jersey. And his listed age is older than the Edward b.1851, son of George and Lavinia.
1870Oregon, Dane Co, Wisconsin p.474Bage 31b.NJwife - Emeline M.children - Nettie, Leslie
(Edward Snider son of George & Lavinia is living with them Portage, Columbia Co, Wisconsin p299B)

Boarder - Herbert Birch
1900Stockton Ward 3, San Joaquin Co, California ED112 p13Aage 63 b.Sep.1836 NJ
wife Mary Cdau. Bertha b.Iowa
1910Eden, Alameda Co, California ED30 p25Bage 72 NJwife Mary C.2nd marriage for both
1920San Leandro, Alameda Co, California ED155 p3Bage 82 NJwife Mary C age 80 b.Nova Scotia
The 1922 California death entry...(hopefully this links comes through on the right page) is for an Edward Snyder, wife M.C. age 85, which fits in with all the above census records.

Edward, son of George and Lavinia was age 18 in 1870, making his birth date abt. 1851. He was living in Portage, Columbia Co, Wisconsin p299B and could not be the same Edward who married Emeline and then Mary C.
Hope this helps, and doesn't further confuse your research.
