Hi Neva,
I'm not related. I read your query and immediately wondered
1) What county is Pignut Mountain in?
2) Which war? (Revolutionary, 1812, Civil?
3) When was William born?
If you are now 16 and come from a long line of teen-aged lovers, your GGGP's could be born in 1926:
Neva - b 1990
Parents - b. 1974
GP - 1958
GGP - 1942
GGGP - 1926
If you are now 80 and come from a long line of men who had their last child by a second wife when they were 60, your GGF could have been born in 1686:
Neva - b. 1926
Father - 1866
GF - 1806
GGF - 1746
GGF - 1686
That is why dates are more important than relationships when you post a query. Both of those are EXTREME examples. Chances are you are about 56 and generations average 33 years in your family:
Neva - 1950
Parents: 1917
GP : 1884
GGP: 1851
GGGP: 1818
I looked up Pignut Mountain in Google. I'm from California and have never heard of it. There is one in Farquier County. I did the estimate above. That made me suspect this is your William and Maria, from the LDS 1880:

Source Information:
Census Place Center, Fauquier, Virginia
The ages and county are right. The link is

That is all I could find. You could look him up there, switch to "Household View", then click on "Next Household" 10 times, go back to him, click on "Previous Household" 10 times. You might find someone interesting.
I changed your heading. Mine has more useful facts. Finally, some people consider Genealogy boards to be like libraries and all caps to be SHOUTING, unless you have a vision problem.
I'm not smarter than you, but I've been posting and answering queries longer. You are undoubtedly better-looking than I, and if you have more than two friends who invite you to their house for dinner on a regular basis, you have more social skills. I hope this helps.
