Your first obit is the correct one - it sounds like it is the one from the set which I forwarded to Doug Roper last year. I had not credited the (Mervo) as necessarily being an accurate maiden name given that the reference in this obit was perhaps 40 years after Anna's death, and I have no earlier references to this name. The "Michael" is an incorrect reference to my grandfather, actually "Mike" (both on formal records and to all who knew him).
It is contemporary info on the parents that I am after. One oddity in your note - it states "Russian Orthodox". My copy of the obit only refers to SS. Peter and Paul "Orthodox" Church in Urey. Perhaps yours is from another paper, so it might be worth a look.
Regarding the Andrew Soltys naturalization papers, the dates don't exactly match but the location is close enough that I would like to have a look (including info on the children). Crabtree is in the next county. At worst, I will have more information on one of the non-related families in the area so that I won't confuse them. Actually, I am also interested in keeping track of all of the Soltises from that area. Who knows, maybe some day an immigration link will indicate that they really were related, just in a more distant way?
