I purchased the subject studio portrait of a middle-aged woman, bearing no location information. It is identified on the back of the mount:
"Aunt (Mrs) Hannah Spaulding Wright
There is a 2-cent tax stamp affixed to the back of the mount, with a handwritten cancellation mark reading:
"L.R.H. June 3d 1865"
