"Man" Speed was my grandmother's half-brother, although I never knew him. But I have the spelling of his name as Emanuel Preston Speed, b. 28 Apr 1874, d. 7 Jul 1902. He was married to Mary Frances Knight. My guess is he was probably buried in the Leaf River Cemetery in Covington.
