Re: James Spence Worcester County,MD
Hi Larry -Would you mind sending me a copy of the deed.I have a copy of a newspaper article from Civil War - 62nd Ohio
to the "Spirit" Aug 18, 1884 signed by H.R. West---mentions a battle near Malvern Hill VA - gives names of those killed, wounded, missing.----another Letter to editor from W.T. Robinson.Mentions capture of 77 Regiment OVI under Lt Province (prisoner - Shrevesport - going to Tyler Texas)
mentions James Spence as "missing",also mentions those captured but escaped -Lt Province was one that escaped.
If you would like a copy of this I would be happy to send it to you.It mentions a number of names.
I have quite a few "relatives" from this area of OH.Most moved from OH to WV (Jackson and Wirt Co WV).Cline, Flowers, Wells, Spence, Cline, Williamson, McBride, Murray, Joy, Enoch, Archer, Hall......
I am also interested in those that moved from the DELMARVA region to OHIO and other areas of WV-Hickman, Nutter, etc
