Thanks Cindy.I am a descendant of this Amos through his daughter, Edith Stafford.Just never have been able to verify that Amos was the s/o Samuel (I've never been lucky enough to get an answer from any of the agencies or clerks in R.I., strange state).Do you have any documented records on these Staffords?Not trying to sound tacky by asking, it's just that all of my research on ancestors thus far is documented.If you have records, I will be happy to pay for copy.
