Central Indiana Staggs'

This is my first stab at tracing my roots back beyond my grandfather.What I know:

My father: Emmett Bruce Staggs, Jr.Married Virgina DuVall
His father: Emmett Bruce Staggs, Sr. Married Katherine Sponsel
His cousin:Fred Staggs

I know there are several Fred Staggs' in the Indy area, and I assume all are related somewhere along the line.I'm just getting quite interested in tracing that family line back to its beginnings.If anyone has any info connecting the Indianapolis Staggs' to the rest of the world, please post it...
